What are the common problems and solutions of water-based light oil?
Waterborne light oil has the following common problems:
1. Light oil is too slow to dry
Main reasons:
A. the amount of thinner is too large and the proportion of water is too high.
Solution: increase the amount of alcohol in the diluent and reduce the dilution.
B. The drying temperature is too low.
Solution: increase the drying temperature.
C. the light travels too fast.
Solution: reduce light speed.
D. light oil viscosity is too big, film is too thick.
Solution: appropriately increase the diluent, reduce the viscosity, reduce the film thickness.
E. light oil itself is too slow.
Solution: replace light oil with faster drying speed.
2. Light oil is drying too fast.
Main reasons:
A. the alcohol content in the diluent is too high.
Solution: increase the amount of water in the diluent.
B. the light is too slow.
Solution: increase the light speed.
C. light oil itself is drying too fast.
Solution: replace light oil.
3. The gloss is not ideal.
Main reasons:
A. Excessive oil dilution.
Solution: reduce the dilution.
B. the base material absorption is too strong, the absorption of light oil is too large.
Solution: increase the light thickness, or the first layer of oil.
C. the drying is not complete.
Solution: completely dry.
D. The light oil itself is not bright.
Solution: replace light oil.
